Being born and raised in the Netherlands makes me a, very, lucky girl. London is around the corner, Paris is just a couple of minutes away and basically almost every other country in Europe can be reached within only 3 hours of flying! Europe has so much to offer and I haven’t even seen a quarter of it yet. Because everything is so close, I love to spend a couple of days in a different city. So, when one of my best friends and I saw an amazing advertisement for a one-day bus-trip to Paris we (of course!) couldn’t say no! As Audrey Hepburn would say: “Paris is always a good idea”, right?!
We arrived early in the morning and immediately walked from the bus stop to The Eiffel Tower. Then we took the underground to The Louvre Museum, The Basilica of Sacre Coeur and The Cathedrale Notre-Dame. I hadn’t been in Paris for at least five years, so it was so much fun to see all these pretty buildings again! Luckily enough the sun shined all day, which made every building look even prettier and wandering even more fun! The view from The Sacre Coeur was gorgeous.
When we finished walking around in the city we of course had to do some shopping in the French Pharmacy and some Sephora for some Nuxe, Nars, Bioderma and Embryolisse. These brands aren’t being physically sold in the Netherlands (yet), so it was good to take a closer look at the products. After the damage had done, we took the bus back to the Netherlands and our lovely day in France ended. We were exhausted, but it was worth it!
